Lela es la coordinadora regional en Europa Central y del Este para Project Oasis. Lidera un equipo de 15 investigadores para crear el directorio de medios europeo y un informe de investigación. Colabora con las coordinadoras regionales de Europa del Norte y del Sur, y con la directora de Project Oasis.
Lela es investigadora política, editora y gestora de proyectos en el sector de los medios de comunicación. Ha emprendido numerosos proyectos periodísticos sin fines de lucro e iniciativas impresas y digitales relacionadas con movimientos sociales, derechos sociales y cultura contemporánea. Fue directora del programa Rijeka 2020 – Capital Europea de la Cultura y jefa del Departamento de Medios de Comunicación del Ministerio de Cultura de la República de Croacia. También fue becaria de periodismo Hubert H. Humphrey en la Universidad de Maryland.
Lela is the regional research manager for Project Oasis in Central and Eastern Europe. She coordinates a group of 15 researchers contributing to the European SembraMedia directory and related study. Lela collaborates with the regional research managers in Southern and Northern Europe, as well as with the director of Project Oasis.
Lela is a policy researcher, editor, and project manager in the media sector. She initiated
numerous non-profit media projects and initiatives, both print and digital, focused on social movements, social rights, and contemporary culture. She served as chief program manager for Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture and as the head of the media department for the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. She was a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow in Journalism at the University of Maryland.
